Assembly and Installation of Gabion Mesh

Assembling the Gabion Mesh: Unfold the folded gabion mesh and spread it out flat on the ground. Then, stand up each panel to form the shape of a box. Connect the upper and lower four corners of adjacent gabion box groups with double-strand combined wires to ensure that the upper and lower frame wires or folded lines are firmly bound

Filling with Stone Materials: Fill the gabion mesh with stones of appropriate size. The filled stones must be evenly distributed within the mesh of the mattress. During the filling process, handle the stones gently to avoid damaging the surface coating and plastic coating of the gabion box. At the same time, ensure that the top surface of the filled stone materials is slightly higher than the cushion block, and fill the gaps with small crushed stones to achieve the maximum density.

Installation and Connection: Install the assembled gabion mesh in the required position and tie and connect it with the adjacent gabion meshes. When selecting the binding wires, make sure that they are of the same material as the gabion box, and the binding wires at each connection point must be tightened. For steeper slopes, it is recommended to add wooden stakes at the top of the slope for fixation to prevent the protection mattress from sliding down.
